CB Radio

General history. As with a lot of things it started in the good old U.S of A.  About 1987 or so the "rigs" started to appear in the UK. AM to start with Then  SSB. Several " Good Buddies" at that time thought it would be better if it was all  made legal under UK law, And so NATCALCBA Was born. It took a while and  in 1981 it was. 40 channels on FM on an odd ball Frequency ending in 0125 Mhz.  ie, channel 1 27:60125Mhz. With a radiating power of 4 watts. Not quite what we wanted but a good deal better than nothing.

Well that was the start and things have  gone on a bit since then. Good reading is,the "Radio Active Mag." check out their link! Also the Radiocommunications Agency is a good place to find out current information and conditions. To find out about Amateur Radio, check my link.
