Transistor symbols.

Here are the two main types used today.
On the diagram the left hand connector is the BASE.
The right hand top,is the COLLECTOR and the bottom
right is the EMITTER. this is the same for both types! Note
the arrows these tell us which is PNP an which is NPN.
