To the right was the old Co-op building which is now part of the INDEX shopping chain. To the rear is the parish church,and to the left is a garden area,this is very close to the old outside market which burned down in 1968. Behind us is the new rail-bus terminal, used by many bus companies and the MetroLink trams to Manchester and Altringham which are south of Bury
