Parallel Capacitors

 
To calculate the total capacity in the above circuit we use the following formula.
Ct = C1 + C2 + C3 Etc. Therefor the total in the example will be 36 mF and if each capacitor
was 12 volt DC working then the effective capacitance would be 36 mF at 12 volts.
